Along with the discover of the Pomegranate I have been eager to take a close up of the now red Haw Berries on the Glastonbury Thorn . . . there aren't many, but for her first year with us I have to say I am most pleased with her progress. Some of her the new growth branches have extended beyond three feet long. I have various colored "Intention Ribbons" set upon her branches in anticipation of our move . . . lots of good thoughts going out to guide and protect us on our journey (during Mercury Retrograde no less).

In preparing the garden for the move I made a lovely discovery . . . the Pomegranate is fruiting! So EXCITING! This is my first official Pomegranate!

Our little tribe will soon be hitting the trails east . . . Destination . . . Colorado . . . purpose . . . putting down new roots to establish home. It's been a long crazy ride to get here, but we are finally here. I'm sure the changes will be reflected in future photographic offerings . . . I think the most difficult change for me (at least anticipated) is being so far from the ocean. I will miss my sacred beach. Hopefully we can make one more visit to Goat Rock before leaving.

Thanks to the folks at Greenmantle Nursery for raising this lovely Glastonbury Thorn tree . . . we are blessed with this opportunity to care for it. It came home with us this weekend . . . a belated Mother's day gift . . . stay tuned and watch her grown and bloom twice a year (once in May and once around Winter Solstice)
